High School Extended Day Programs Saint Paul high schools, After School programs are designed with the goal of helping students graduate. Most classes are credit recovery, or MCA test preparation classes. Staff members are licensed and highly qualified in the area they are teaching. Each school offers classes according to the need of the students. Most schools offer English, Math, Social Studies and Health classes. Classes are small and student centered. The After School Programs are encouraged to provide students with hands on curriculum. The Extended Day Programs are designed to target students' needs in each building, course offerings, class times, and start dates vary in each building. Middle School/Junior High Extended Day Programs
Middle school and junior high school students
participating in the Extended Day Programs have
a wide variety of classes in which to participate.
Schools offer credits as well as MCA classes,
depending on the needs of the students.
Schools are encouraged to develop classes that
will be designed to be active, and interesting to
students.
